need some help
ok...this is going to be difficult to understand and believe. I have a 2000 v6 camaro. every now and then, my cd player will shut off...for no reason. i never know when it's going to do it. when my cd player goes off....my window won't roll down either...ONLY when the cd player goes out. to turn it back on, i click the window up button and the lock button at the same time, and it comes back on. Sometimes it will blink on and off several times then turn completely off. I don't understand....has anyone else had this problem? i wanted to go to a forum first before i take it to GM. Thanks for all your help
Also...if a speaker is making a buzzing sound, only the front left speaker, does that mean it has a loose ground wire or somethin'? i swaped the speakers to see if it was the speaker...but it did the same with the other one. Thanks!

i took it to a guy and he said that camaros have had a problem with some control module that has the wiring to the windows and cd player. i dunno if thats right or not...thats why im on here trying to find out what to do. All the wiring from the cd player to the wiring harness is correct...that guy checked it. so...tomorrow morn..i guess i'll be checkin' all my grounds...i planned to do that anyway though...cuase of that one speaker....thanks

about that speaker is it the orgional one or did you swap it out and splice the wiring make sure you have it hooked up right.. neg to neg you know that deal. check the wiring to the speaker and from the harness to the cd player if its an aftermarket.

on the speaker...it was the original one. and i'm sure it's the ground...cause sometimes it stops buzzing and works fine....but you hit a good bump and it starts up again....i'm thinkin' it's a loose ground somewhere

I checked my ground wires this mornin'....i scraped away the paint under the nut and screwed it back on and tried it. It worked just fine. I guess thats what it was for the speaker buzzing. As for the other problem....I dunno whats wrong
