New Cam
#16
Yeah, I am stoked. I just need to get the gaskets and a longer crank pulley bolt. I have three pullers but none of them are in one piece so I'll just try to make one good puller out of them. I have a crowbar style valve spring compressor, hopefully that will be good enough.

pull the radiator out, unbolt the front end of the engine, spin the cam a few times and throw the new one in. the valve springs are gonna be the biggest ***** of the install but get a system down, it wont be too bad.TSP makes some crazy stuff. you should gain more than 50 with the cam and the tune will help but not needed for a while

yea thats a good reminder, shove the rods in there and it holds the lifters up, or trust god's wishes that they all stay up. many people do it that way and have no trouble. your choice tho.
