Hey I just got my 97 Z28 a few months back with only 27000 on it. I want to turn it into a show car more or less but still want to drive it. What are the best performance upgrades to get starting off?

exhaust, cold air kit. With that low of millage you'll have some oil burning so the heads should be done (sitting is just as bad if not worse for a car than driving a ton)

Exhaust yea but what are the best headers and i want to go true duels so what are the pipes and i have to pass emissons so i need cats and mufflers so im looking for what can give the most power and still pass colorado emissions

Show is more then just body kits and car audio you got to have the power to back up the look im droping over 6gs into the system and probly another 6 out side the car what im looking for is the best parts to make it perform up to the standards the looks give off

Fair enough...Header wise check out Hooker, and kooks... Jethot has good 1s too. I do have a set of Hooker super comp long tubes in my garage... as for duels I hear the Xr1 mufflers are good emissions wise computer tune and u can have it pass since its a 97 obdII car check out madZ28.com and contact Ion for more info. Does colorado do the sniffer on the obdIIs aswell? as far as cats get some high flo... or keep the same not much of a diffrence..

Thanks Yea i was thinking of hookers for sure but im not sure what im going to do as far as makeing it true duels i want that mainly for sound cause i dont think there is much performance differce is there?

if they do a visual true duals won't pass (you can't change location of a cat I know it's stupid but that's the law)
