Yeah, even another guy said "you should have them done in under 6 hours".. I guess that doesnt apply to n00bs like me haha... But Im a perfectionist also, Im just making sure everything is right... Im gonna be super pissed if I have any leaks.

nah dude time estimates really cant apply to exhaust work. ive done many systems in cars/trucks and semis. The times for getting them done were all over the board. i mean sometimes you have to heat up every single bolt just to get the ers off.....frustrating but worth it! I cant wait to hear it! oh yeah, justin, your driving us monday. i wanna hear it!

... Its done. 7pm tonight, we finally finished. I absolutely love it. Im so ******* tired right now though, and I havent showered, well, in a couple days (I know, its gross)... Its been staright working on it. I think I counted 24 hours total, between 3 days (Im a n00b, Im aware).
Today we got there to finish it up, and ran into the problem that my cat inlet was the exact same size as the y-pipe outlet, and the cat was supposed to go inside. So after going to the only united auto open on sunday, they searched for any cat for me with no luck... then they called the local farm and fleet and turns out we go out there to get the pipe expanded... They cant expand the ceramic coated y-pipe, so the cat actually went over the y-pipe haha.. Hey it works. After that, it was just a little welding, a little fitting, and shes running. Theres a rattle, which I plan on fixing, and the tailpipes are a little uneven, which ill also have to fix, but I primarily just wanted to get it done.. I had a 2.5 hour drive home, and I have to work tomrrow, and school, so I was shittin my pants cuase i didnt think I was gonna have a vehicle.
Anyway, summary: Its done, Im home, Im happy.
ps: I smoked a racoon, and bottomed out once on my way back... Sparks flew out adric said lol... Damn clamps.

I think they are. Definitly feels like Im getting up to speed faster than before... But I also put a lot in at once:
I cleaned the air filter really good
new plugs/wires
new headers/hi flow cat/exhaust
I was just taken back most by the sound... It sounds like a whole different car.. And I like it

I know our cars get that sixxer rasp when you put an exhaust on. How's the magnaflow with that problem? Do the headers/cat help at all?
