New Exhaust set up?

I think its time to get a little more power out of my exhaust and just a little more sound. My neighbors are giving me **** all the time about my car being to loud. I wanna really **** them off. But I dont want a cutoff. Its not going to just be an xpipe i was going to connect it to my Loudmouth. Or should I keep my current set up? 2 Slp High flow cats and custom 3" cat back. Would there be much of a diffrence in sounds and power?

Current Set Up

you can get louder, but power gain would be insignificant

I was thinking a X pipe with true duals a hard and somewhat expensive set up be worth it. What do you think?

I say cutout, in terms of loudness they cannot be match except by running open headers. And when your neighbor calls the cops all you have to do is close to cutout and then your neighbors look like total fools.

Don't do true duals, way over rated. A really good ypipe and catback will give you good power. I'm personal in the process of builing a custom side exhaust but that's just because I want to be different.

true duals is hard on our cars. would have to be tucked up very nicely with prolly bullet mufflers. if you do that tho you will HAVE to do tailpipes other wise you wont be able to sit in the car while its running. if i were you i would do true duals from your long tubes, get them to the back somehow, maybe run two 2.5" on the factory exhaust side and then split it up in the rear with a bullet on each side then a tailpipe right after it. or just do true duals with dumps, that fits pretty nicely but very lou and obnoxious. Ask Adam about tru duals with bullets and turn downs.

New here, but IMO the loudest i have heard is from a set of KOOKS long tube headers and Y-pipe into the loudmouth. Its obnoxious. The SLP's you are running are very restrictive and they don't make an aggressive exhaust note compared to the kooks. Yes kooks are expensive But they are the best fitting and the best gains for headers, plus they are availible in stainless steel so they will never rust. I had that setup on my car and it was too loud... QTP's are also great, same design as kooks with different collectors...

The SLP is loud enough. I dont want it to loud otherwise I would just go straight headers , I decided just to keep what I have.
