get some lowering springs next- well worth the $$- they change the look almost as much as wheels.

They aren't as bad as you think- I have sportlines on my car now and managed. All you have to do is not drive like a retard thru parking lots and avoid the speed bumps. There are many people on here that can attest to the fact that all it takes paying attention and you'll be fine.

If you run 275/40s I don't think so because they're the same diameter (height) as the stockers. Pretty sure, but I might be wrong???

it will be pretty close, just keep an eye on it when you first get them, and if it's off you can have the pcm reprogramed

yea, thats what I was figuring, since its about the same ride height that it will be ok with the 275/40's . I just wanted to be sure, so it prob will be off maybe 1 or 2 mph which is no big deal.

Yeah...I would assume that the difference would be so little that it wouldn't matter, but Arch is the authority (ASE certified), so listen to what he tells ya. He's given me some advice in the recent past and it was directly on point!

your speedo may be off now that's why I say keep an eye on it, if you seem to be pulling away from traffic, and the cruise is set just over the speed limit, it's probably off

Typically those ~900 dollar wheel and tire combos come with cheap-o tires. I bought a set of Z06 replica wheels with tires and it was just over a grand. The tires are hard and won't grip for crap on the road. Also, what you'll notice with 275s on the front is that your car is going to be at the mercy of the ruts in the road. My car gets pulled around by ruts really easily now since I put the wider tires on it.

some cheapy tires are better than high dollar ones (anything is better than a goodyear tire) if ruts pull the car typically it's not tire related it's alignment related (and many alignment shops don't really align the car) when you put new wheel snad tires on a car get it aligned, and always ask for a printout with the alignment, if the shop can't or won't do it, don't let them touch your car.
