New rotors INSTALLED!!!

Spent about 8 hours Saturday installing my new rotors, changing all the fuilds, and just tuning my car. Here are some before and after pics of the rotors. I went with red and glad that I did. They really stand out. I got a lot of comments Saturday nite when I took the car out. The Dupli-Color kit was excellent. Easy to use and cover with just 2 coats. I highly recommend it.

Yea, I know I should have cleaned the rims up before I took the pics, but I want to get out and test them. They make a huge difference in stopping distance.

Got them on Ebay. Store called R1Concepts. I got the rotors and pads for a little over $260. If you look at their store and ads they sell Axxis pads and went with those for a little extra money. The other pads they offer are some no-name brand. Go for the better pads.

I wonder how many other people noticed that you upgraded your axles...and have airbags in the rear...go to the track much??

Brakes look good though...

I bought the car the way it sits today. Other than the brake job all the work was done by the previous ower. He ran it at an 1/8 mile track and gave me the slips. It ran a tad over 8 seconds at 85 MPH. I plan on going to the track when it gets a lot nicer out. I plan on getting of drag radials before I go, so it might be awhile. His time is the one on the left of the pic.

BTW I can hardly see those airbags in that pic, you got some sharp eyes!
