I havnt had my car going on a week now. I took it in on Monday to get the Sycros for 3-4 replaced. I called on Wensday to check up on her and they told me they were about to start working on her since they have been backed up. So 2day (friday) I call again to see how shes doing and they tell me they just took off the tranny this morning. I havnt had a car the whole **** week! And they just start on it right now. I was supposed to have the car back today. :banghead: So then I ask when can I have her back they tell me prob at the end of next week. I hate life...

I called the shop again today. Hoping that my car would be ready and I was told they havnt even worked on it. They took off the tranny but they havnt even poped it open yet. B/S! Again, wont get it until the comming week so they say. This is B/S!

What?! How long is that now? Tell them you want the car back and you're taking it somewhere else. Or have them pay to have it towed to another shop.

Im getting a discount so i rather it stay. Im getting a new clutch, new synchos, new what ever eles I need. I paying a flat 800.00 rate. This is the 3rd week. I did just as you said but my dad didnt let me he told me that if we take it some place eles they are just going to fix it to fix it. I rather all problems get fixed. Yah know... I told them they needed to hurry as that was the only car I have.

man, get used to this ****. My car just got out of the shop after 4 weeks for what was SUPPOSED to be a 3 day ordeal. Good luck with it man. I know how it feels to miss your woman.

lol, Yeh getting her back on Tuesday with a new clutch, 3-4 shift forks replaced, Sycros replace 1-6 , and a good cleaning. My uncle told me it will drive so smooth and newish. Cant wait.

Yea **** that man, it took me 5-6 hours to get everything un bolted and the tranny out, i could have had it swapped back in the same day, im just waitin for my new tranny to get in, then by next tuesday ill have it in. actually the worst thing i ran into as replacing the u joints on the back of the drive shaft at the yoke, them ers wouldnt come out for **** i had to heat them up and beat it for an hour to pop it out... other than that it has been an easy job... **** tranny shops their either lazy or backed up.. id never take my car to the shop unless its under waranty

if you had a press it should have been easy to do (the heating would still have been necessary since gm locks them in with plastic)

All I know is when mine blows a rebuild is not even an option, a TCI Super StreetFighter or StreetFighter will be going in my car.
