That crackling and popping is from less backpressure. You dont have a muffler anymore, so that would explain it. I personally think it sounds cool, but thats just me.
Btw, your diff cover looks like it would be a ***** to get off if you ever do so haha.

i understand completely why its making that noise. i dont really know what i think of it, i only put like 5 miles on it so far.
as for the diffy cover, yea i wasnt too happy when i saw it. but considering i bought it wrecked and it sat for almost 2 years out side, im not surprised. damn snow.

1000? arg, first i read somewhere 50-100, then some one told me 300, now its 1000. this sucks, oh well ill still get a clip up tuesday when it doesnt rattle anymore.
pb blaster FTW indeed, i used that stuff all the time at school last year, took off rusted bolts like nobody's business. just wish it wasnt that nasty color yellow, thats no fun to look at.

Its 1000.. It will gradually change the more miles you put on it, but aroudn 1000 its going to sound like what it will sound like the rest of its life.
haha, I just wish it didnt smell like ****.

im lost now. haha the exhuast smells funny becuase of the new cat. the carb cleaner was just something i used ALOT at school last year....for reasons that we wont go into

yeah, its most likely burning in the new cat, and insides of the new tubing, and chemicals or anything that set in there. Since you only drove it 5 miles, I see why. It goes away after a couple hundred miles.
