OVC wires on an lt1

OVC wires on an lt1
I will be ordering an over the valve cover wire kit for the LT1 in a few days, I am undecided on which one to go with.
Which ones look the best, on top or on the side of the valve cover?
I am going to try and find some better examples, but that pic gets the point across.

idk what kinda headers your gonna run but i cant see the side mount ones working too well with some brands possibly. i have the top mount and LOVE them. they fit perfect, i zip stripped the wires to each other where the come down just to keep them as far from the headers as possibly and ive never had a single problem with a plug wire burning up or getting hot. i vote top mount!!! plus i think it looks better.

The side mount will eliminate the need to mess with the wires when you have to take the valve covers off, and also eliminate any oil creeping up the bolts and seeping out the top, but I personally like the look of the top mount better.

Actually no- I said I like the look of the top-mount better. but service and maintance wise the side mount are better in that respect. I don't think thats contradictory.
I know it sounds contradictory but there is double meaning there...
