Pacesetter LT's VS Mac MT's.
Yeah I know I'm being cheap but I'm not dropping 1K plus just for some Kooks type headers. I decided to go between these two headers for several reasons, one of course being price and the other being ground clearance. The Pacesetter sit a little lower then the Macs but I have heard they are more forgiving when it comes to ground clearance when compared to Hooker Headers. Shortys are out of the question because the gains are so small, the Macs don't offer the performance of LT's but they come very close. Price wise the Pacestters cost an extra 150+ with the Y-Pipe. Which header would you go with?

well i dont think the mac LTs come with a y-pipe...so since the pacesetters have it with the LTs...go for pacesetters.
by the way, do the pacesetter LTs have emissions hook ups and does the y-pipe work with the stock cat? |
actually i dont think any LTs have y-pipes...these dont have one but they do have egr and air hookups...yay for cali peeps:

Why would LT's have no Y pipe? Oh and BTW I wouldn't buy those headers from summit, way over priced.:)

I'd say do the mid length since the gain is similar and a lower price (long tubes hurt the power band anyway that's why you don't see a graph with them just peak power)

i like lts personally but i've heard alot of good stuff about mid lengths toos

Once you tack in shipping (macs cost a lot to ship for some reason) the Pacesetters cost about $100, however I'm not getting good feed back on the pacesetters for ground clearance it seems they might be just as bad as the hookers.

Ok the pacesetter come cermanic coated while the Macs come HTS coated, what is the difference?
