Garrett T3/T4 hybrid ball bearing, freshly rebuilt with 0 miles and no shaft play. This is only the beginning, me and a buddy are going to be working on this project.

Wow, that should be fun. Is the T3/T4 large enough though, the LS1 is a big engine.

Might be enough, but I don't think you will get a ton of boost of it..but its not a prob if the internals are stock- I would stay below 9psi with a intercooler and below 6 without any type of cooler..

Still looks like a lot of fun..I love doin custom stuff..I have some more in store for my car this winter..

yeah, i pciekd up a intercooloer off a friend, my internals are stock for now but i'm going H/C package probably while i'm still working on this turbo setup, so i'm getting a FI cam.

That turbo is NOWHERE NEAR BIG ENOUGH for an LS1 application.

You should sell that turbo to a V6 member, and get a large frame T72 Garrett. Also, make sure you get a nice big intercooler. 30x12x3 would work.

www.force-fed-fabrications.com should have some pictures done on an LS1 Trans Am for reference.

yeah, i ran into a few things with this projectm one was the turbo wasn't big enough. go figure. hah. so i'm in the process of sellin the setup i had goin to pickup a vortec setup off my friend.

yup you were right haha, i since then did alot to the car, but recently it blew up. now i'm building a turbo ls6, all forged internals and a gT40 turbo. im in the process now
