Ram air intake? tranny swap?
Just wondering if any of you have suggestions on a certain brand or brands. Links would be nice too
Another question, I believe I've asked it before, but how hard would it be to swap in a 6spd and a GENERAL price? I'm not looking for specifics...just a general idea (autos get soo boring)

Well it depends on what year car you have. I'm assuming its a V8 since you want a 6spd. As far as doing a swap there is more than just unbolting and bolting in the new one. You are going to need all the clutch components, pedals and such. I'm not sure but I think you are going to need a different crossmember as well. Quite a bit of work.

Stall is the speed at which the converter will hold the engine speed and not allow any further gain in RPM. if you go WOT with your wheels locked, the engine would not go any further in RPM then the stall speed at which point it would either stall/die or just lug out at that RPM, unti you release the brakes. The Stall speed rating or number on your converter is the RPM at which the power transfer is most efficient. Below the Stall Speed - lots of slip - at and above the stall speed - near lock transfer.

I previously had a 3600 stall and it was soo much, around the 3000 range is what I have found to be perfect for normal driving and a little more fun to go. I paid around 2k give of take for the tranny and everything I added on to it.

Oh ok, so kinda the lower the better. Does it make it accelerate faster/torquey-er?
Was the tranny brand new or did they rebuild it?
sorry for pickin your brain so much

No lower is not better, Higher is better. You want to go with atleast a 2800-3000 stall 3600 would be the highest I would go. I had a 3600 previously and it was fun as **** but wasnt good for slow cruising around the town and definatly hurt my mpg.
The tranny was a rebuilt core the place I got it from gets used ones and rebuilds them.
