Leave them on. Put some 3M double-sided sticky tape on them to keep them from coming off. One of mine blew off on the freeway when I first got them.

what kind are there? open ur trunk and make the rear lights lose and then place them on then re tighten them I had to do that for mine then for the top part that snaps over get a lighter and heat that part up and place it over the lights and bend that part down and you should be good to go.

Looks good both ways but I like it better with the covers on Niteshades is a good idea too I plan to that one of these days
