Rev Limiter
Does anyone know how to remove the rev limiter? I want to make it so I can go over 4k at idle, why? I dont know, I just dont like that it stops me at 4k I guess. Just out of curiousity, I want to know how hard it is, and how to do it.

dbag wants to rev his new little exhaust at ricers while in a parking lot I guess..
|
maybe. Mostly because it sounds dumb when your trying to get sound clips of it, and it cuts off.

4000 rpm for a rev limiter? I'm confused.. I know mine goes to 5200rpm or somewhere around there...
(we are talking about the same thing right?) |

I got the 3.8 But with the T-5. and when I'm in neutral I can go all the way up to redline without a problem...
Not sure if different transmissions have anything to do with that.. |
maybe neutral I can, I dunno, I cant really remember. I dont try to redline it all the time or anything. But I know it park it stops me at 4k... Why isnt that normal chad?

To record an exhaust clip?...Not as high as possible, just higher than 4k.

well i guess Im kinda confused. I suppose I could go into neutral and record them, but I guess Ive always just started my car and let it warm up then rev it up to record a clip. I didnt know going in neutral was the 'proper' way to do it.

Anyways, can anyone tell me how to do it?
