Roots Blower For an LT1?

Awhile back I read somewhere that you could get a Weiand supercharger for a SBC and modify 2 bolt holes and it would fit the LT1.

My questions are, is there any truth to this?

What intake manifold is it/and or other brand and model.

Is there any other Roots blowers that will fit an LT1?

I have only seen a roots style blower on an LT1 FBody once and it took A TON of modifications.
The blower wasn't even sitting on top of the engine since there wasn't any room. It was custom made and sat at about a 70* slant off the side. To much work in my opinon.

With half the motor sitting under the cowl in the 4th gens you would be hard pressed to make it work without severe modifications. It would be a lot easier in a B-body (Caprice or Impala) but even still its a lot of work. Best just going with an ATI or Vortech.

Ok, the heating problem makes sense so lemme rephrase my question, if I got a 383 stroker kit? What kinds of heads/cam should I get if I wanted to produce roughly 450 hp and torque?
