serpentine belt???? help

got a 1998 camaro v6...my serpentine belt (new)..something is not right since where the belt tensioner...i notice that the belt is not sitting properly...it seems like its about to fall off the pulley...its not sitting properly...i thought its a uneven pulley so i bought one but once i start the car it do that again.....what could be causing this???....i chk with pep boys and autozone they dont sell the tensioner assembly only the pulley ...like i said its not the pulley got to be something else ...any idea...im gonna post a picture of that tensioner later.......pls help

check the alignment. stand on the side of the car and look straight at the belt. see if one of the other pullies of misaligned and thats causing the belt to be off the tensioner.

it doesnt sound like the tensioner is off but it sounds like another pulley is like another is too far our so its trying to pull the belt off like norice said just look fron the top of the front and just see whats further out
