just make sure you try them first, yes a shop can do it but it's just plug it in and look up the code number. took my parts store two minutes to scan it but like thirty to firgure out what it meant. and then i locked the keys in my car with it running.......that sucked

Just go ahead and replace them. They are suposed to be replaced around every 100K miles or less, Which im sure your around there or past it. Its basic tune up maintenance.
