service light
i just got my engine detailed and the service light wont go off. I am wondering wat the problem could be, i first thought there was water in the system but that wasnt it, i disconnected the battery adn plugged it in again to reboot the computer and yet it still came on. Im not sure what to do, other than taking it to a professional.

If you have a laptop you can download a program to check it yourself since if I remeber correctly your car is a 95. If so you need a OBD-1 code reader which some shops don't have- I know my local Autozone doesn't at least.
Its nice havin my laptop with me- Its great to be able to monitor all my sensor readings in real-time as I am driving so I can make sure nothin is going to far out of whack!!
I believe there is a way to cross a couple wires on the port under the dash and count the SES flashes to determine the code(s) but I am not for sure since I haven't had to yet. Arch- sound familar to you??

stop at your local auto parts store and ask if they could check it, i get quite a few people everyday asking me to check thier systems out, i usally tell them what it comes up with then ask them if i should reset the code and suggest a local mechanic to check go over what the code comes back as.
