short?
This has been happening lately, and I havent really thought anything of it until now. When I get in my car and start it, if I try to roll down my windows (pw) sometimes it doenst do anything. Sometimes when I open my door and close it again, it works, but somtimes I have to do that a couple times, or even slam the door to get the pw to finally work. Yesterday I was driving and my stereo wouldnt turn on. Then it would come on then shut off moments later, and started turning on and off with shorter intervals. I dont know whats going on, so I'm hoping someone with an electronics background could help me out. Just lately the problem has been more persistant. Help me out guys

I bet you have a short in the door area inside the rubber boot between door, and body, if not there then at a switch.I had a similar problem in the gp when I forgot to trim the leads from an led on a door switch. The bellows thing is common since teh wires bend alot there when the door is opened and closed

The thing with the radio going off at random. My stereo was doing that all the time before I replaced the battery. idk if that is what's causing it, but my stereo would just turn off, and wouldn't turn back on, when i replaced the batter, it works like a top now. Just a thought. Make sure your battery is charging and/or holding a charge

When I took it to wal-mart (:P) for a 16 pt. inspection, they had written down that they recommend I replace my battery. It took me by surprise, because it seemed to be working fine since I had the car. So maybe it is the battery.

if it's a die hard average life is about 2 years (they are made by the same company that makes the wal mart batteries, and are listed as a lower level, the company is in Atlanta)
