Hurst
B&M Ripper
Pro 5.0
Lou's Short Stick

Accept no substitutes. Ebay is always my backup, go with proven items first if you dont want problems or a peice of **** product.

With a shifter, its something you feel. Going from stock to aftermarket shifter is like day to night. In this case i'd spend the extra money and get one of the ones I listed above.

but it's deff. not a short throw, it's big.
i was told by the previous owner it is a hurst shifter.

looks like it could be a hurst but the handle looks a little long. go with a pro 5.0 and any short stick from a place such *** www.ls1speed.com or there are many others that are just as good as the rest.

deffinietly dont buy less than a hundred dollar shifter from ebay.

Definately a hurst ball **** on that. Not sure about the rest of it. But the shaft doesnt look like the ripper, so I would say yes, its a hurst. There is no reason to replace it unless you just hate that long stick.

Its def. not the ripper- I can tell you that.

I have the ripper in my car and I love it. Here's something to try- take the section of console off around the shifter and expose where the handle actually bolts to the shifter itself. I took mine and drilled another hole higher so that the handle would sit lower. It only dropped it a 1/2" but it sure made a big difference thats for sure.
