yea. I know, but I was like fk it and did it anyways. My next little mod is going to be the MAF from SLP. All together Im looking for just a little bit better response and accleration.

I'd go with a LS6 intake manifold waaay before I got an slp maf... Maybe some sub-frame connectors...

LS6 intake is kinda out of my budget...The MAF im getting is only 170$. Sub frame connectors, do they help in turning or just from flex when going straight? I am also going to get a Tower Strut Bar.

It's $192 after shipping/handling. If you ever want to get your PCM tunned, you're gonna have to get rid of the slp maf. It will maybe gain you 3-4hp.

Now on the other hand, you can pick up LS6 intake manifolds used for $300 and you can see realistic gains of 20hp

Hey when ya get it and the MAF installed (if ya go with it) let me know how much of a gain you get (or feel) in the car. I've been thinkin about doing the same thing

exactly..

And its a Strut/Shock Tower Brace/Bar , not TSB or whatever. Just so youll have better luck searching for it when you do.

I agree, Id go with the intake manifold if youre already willing to spend 200 on a MAF.

true, Ill just see what it comes down to. I have an auto so it really wouldnt need a PCM tune and I always keep my stock parts for just incase situations.

sfc's would do a hell of a lot more than a strut tower brace. sfc's help handling, ride quality, and flex. a MAF sensor is honestly the last thing i would upgrade on a car

yea thats for the imput, I will definitly be holding off on the MAF, I dont know everything, and I know most of you guys know a hell of a lot more then I do. I definitly want a strut bar to jazz up the engine bay, can you tell the dif in handling with one, straight line and corning, does it feel more stable as in a noticable difference and does it help you keep power planted to the wheel in turns? My Smooth Bellows comes in Tuesday the 20th, so I cant wait, it will look way better.

I know SFC's are what most people get, but can I go under my car and actually bolt it on the stock frame or is there a stock one there already that isnt very good? dont know to much about suspension and the chassis and frame...ahaha

Lets just put it this way.. A strut bar will do the least of any suspension mod for you. Its more for looks than anything.

thanks for the feedback, i still think I will get one for the hell of it later on, most likely from the sites sponsor of UMI, just cause I like the way they handle thier buisness, watched the vids and its awesome they specialize in F-bodies as well as other cars, Ill buy the 70$ one in a month or two.

i actually noticed a differance with my stb, if SFC's make a difference, they must REALLY stiffen up the car.
