i havent goen under the car yet to look, but does anybody know where the vehical speed sensor is on the transmission of an 85 iroc with an auto

well i think that trans was the 700R4...which is almost identical to my 4L60E...and on mine its at the rear of the trans on the drivers side. its a circle with a wire connected to it. just unbolt the retaining plate and yank it out, then get a new seal and reinstall.

seems like it is in the same location as with a mechanical speedo (been a while since I've looked also)(and that is what was described above btw)
