archemedes 06-30-2005 01:29 AM

hp tuners

NoRiceInside 06-30-2005 05:41 AM

hypertech as well. all custom tuning companies can change that easily too.

SLPowerZ 06-30-2005 10:57 AM

how do they feel, much different from the 3:42s?

97z2801ss 06-30-2005 02:59 PM

sure do...I think my car had 3.23s HUGE diffrence

Mike Jones 06-30-2005 09:54 PM

$150 for the basic tune from Speed INC.

I'm going to have them do it to mine when I install some 4.10's plus I'll have them get rid of all the emission's crap.

man. you guys are so lucky not to have emmisions. wait chad do you not have emmisions? lol. while we are at it does anybody know a good way to disconnect my speedometer. i heard the VSS plays a part in the fuel setup and its not good to disconnect it.

Yes we have emmisions, but since mine's an OBDII as long as I'm not throwing any codes I'll pass.

disconnect the cluster, unhooking anywhere else will make the car confused

I wonder how big of a difference I would feel if I went from 2:73's to 3:73's.

you have 2.73's? wow. if you went to 3.73s youd notice a HUGE difference.

Arch, if i just go with all aftermarket gauges and an electronic speedo to my VSS everything will be cool right? i kinda wanted to make my own cluster or something. but that wont be for a while anyways. would that work tho? will my SES light go on with the cluster unplugged.

Yeah my rear end is very high, I'm tempted to try to top my car out once the scanmaster arrives. I know my engine and tires are up for a run but I'm not sure about the rest of the car.

archemedes 06-30-2005 10:50 PM

ses light can't go on with the cluster unplugged, it's unplugged too, the pcm doesn't monitor the gauges it monitors the sensors going to the gauges, many aftermarket ones work with the factory vss but not all

69z-28 06-30-2005 10:51 PM

you will be fine. just find a long straight strech of highway and get a radar detector.lol

SLPowerZ 07-01-2005 01:12 AM

2:73s are pretty high man, that thing must feel like a dog going through the gears
