Arch, if i just go with all aftermarket gauges and an electronic speedo to my VSS everything will be cool right? i kinda wanted to make my own cluster or something. but that wont be for a while anyways. would that work tho? will my SES light go on with the cluster unplugged.

ses light can't go on with the cluster unplugged, it's unplugged too, the pcm doesn't monitor the gauges it monitors the sensors going to the gauges, many aftermarket ones work with the factory vss but not all
