I have the --TCS S3 Series 9/11 3600 stall converter w/ lock up
"All TCS Performance Torque Converters include a furnace brazed Pump Cover, double reinforced Turbin Fins, a 4340 Billet Turbin Spline, Torington Bearings & a 4130 induction heat treated Pump Drive Hub."

It woke the car up alot.

It all depends on the application- if you cruise around a lot, get the lower one, or else you might in the convertor quite a bit...

3000 ...if you get a nice brand it isnt too much of a difference till you stomp on it It is one of the biggest sit of the pants mods though. Make sure you do a tranny cooler and temp guage though cause you can kill the tranny if your not careful.

worlds best advice on a converter. You put the wrong one in and it will feel like you lost a cylinder, or burn up your trans from slipping (makes more heat)

John at Fuddle Racing recommended it over the 2,800 since I have 373s and also quite a few local people Two ppl I know who had pretty quick f-bodies (one bolt on LT1 in the 12s and the other in the low 13s I think) one in the 12s had a 3,500 stall converter street driven and the other like 3,200 they absolutely said I should go higher. I am getting a transmission cooler and a shift kit I just don't see how it would feel like I lost a cylinder if it gets my car closer to low 13s.. never had a higher stall converter before so I'd like to know.

what it does is slips to get the engine to rev higher, so the engine gets to a higher rpm band, and may not stay in the best part for power. Call TCI and see what they say, they know better than anyone since they build them and test them constantly

i heard 350+ hp a 3,000 or 3,200 is good. Below that a 2,800 is recommended

3000 should be fine if its a good brand converter...cheap ones tend to act funny. Basically your car might feel slower because at low rpms your car isnt really gonna want to move as much as before... But you will love when you got WOT it makes a big difference especially when it shifts and stays more in the powerband. Bad thing is if your tranny has any problems it will hasten the destruction of it lol. Id get a b&m cooler 24000 gvw.
