sub frame connectors would be a better first suspension mod. but a strut bar is cool for looks and some stabilation in the front end. basically another sway bar. I bought mine from UMI.

SFC's are much more important than STB's. As everyone else has said, you wont notice much of a difference from a STB, I've had one on my maro before and I took it off and sold it at Autofair because I couldnt tell a difference either way.

On the other hand, SFC's were a difference like night and day. My oppinion, get some UMI SFC's.

sfc are the best mod for an fbody because eventully even the 6ers start to twist.
I got my subframes rom speed inc when they had a bmr sale or gp i cant member both the ls1 and lt1 have them.

stb you wont notice at all unless u corner hard but its part of tying everything together.
lca's are another good one keep the power on the ground.

If you do go with STB, the one you posted is a great product. J&M is a good company to deal with. The quality and fit was awesome.

Building up a good suspension will change your car so much. Like others said you probably won't feel a difference at all with the strut tower brace but at the same time it can't hurt at all. I put one on my car to help tie everything together.

I agree with what ya say Chad, but personally, i'd much rather spend money on things that I know will make a signifigant difference. It cant hurt, and im sure i'd notice it when autocrossing, but as per a STB, i'd rather put $100 to use somewhere more important.

I'd just save the $100 and save up some more for some 3 point SFC's. Its like night and day any way you drive the car.

Random thought: I have a blown mustang that comes into my work occasionally, with street drags, cam, heads, the works. But he has pretty much no suspension mods (i've driven the car many times now) and it wont hook at all. Whats the point in having power if you cant get it to the ground? It makes me laugh at him occasionally. Just a good example of why suspension is so important.
