If you are going to get into serious turbocharging, there is a lot of baggage that comes along with it. Once you open that door, it's hard to close it, consider all of your money gone, and your daily driver unstable. There is nothing like having engine problems when you aren't even racing

You're all going to hate me for this:
My yearly insurance...
...in Canadian dollars (.84 cents USD = 1.00 CAD Dollar)...
... is $1650.00.

Oh yeah, and I'm 19, I have no merits on my license, which would result in a discount, and I have two additional vehicles under my own name aside from the Camaro. In the US, I'd be raped by the insurance company.

Define 'serious'. Like, 20 PSI? 10 intercooled PSI will turn a daily driver 3.8 into a stable, 330 RWHP machine on stock internals. I keep forgetting that this is not an all V6 board as I'm used to, so I'm not sure how the LT1/LS1s handle turbocharged boost.

Comon guys we drive american made cars Camaros and Firebirds I mean I like turbos but that is for a ricer i would much rather pull up to a ricer and hit the rev limiter with a screaming supercharger sticking out of my hood than a little turbo with a blow off valve. I mean this weekend i got into it with a srt 4 they are turbocharged I drive a 95 Z28 naturaly asperated and I pulled on him like it was nothing

1. American made cars? You drive a 95 Z28, right? So did you know that 'American made car' was 'made' in Ste. Therese, Quebec, Canada?
2. Oh, and my apologies, I guess the 1989 Turbo Trans Ams that would smoke stock LT1s out-of-the-box are just too ricer, eh?

ok-lets take it easy here-

A turbo doesn't mean rice. There are many cars out there that have turbo's but I wouldn't consider them rice. Rice is a term that has been used more and more losely these days. Rice is a term for a someone who is trying to fool other people into thinkin that they have something they don't. i.e.-a kid who puts GSX badges on his stupid little baseline Eclipse..

Someone with a fast 4 cyc is called a Tuner in my book. A respect anyone who can take a car and go under 13 sec in the 1/4, esp. when then start out only goin around a 15.

I know that, but the guy's going on about 'American made muscle cars' like he knows what he's talking about. You said it yourself, the GN was a beast of a car, it was domestic, and it was a turbocharged vehicle.

Blower-whine kicks @ss, and I love it too, but word from the wise, don't go telling me that my 'turbo' (which actually came off a Grand National) was meant for a ricer. And for the record, I don't use a blow-off valve, I hate those f--king things, it sounds nice set-up as a stock GN is. (Ever heard when a GN revs the engine and the turbo hiccups on the way down? Sounds awesome.)
