Question Synthetic ATF?

I noticed O'reilly sells things like Mobile 1 synthetic ATF and B&M Trickshift fluid. I was wondering would this stuff be worth the switch? I have a new pan on the way and of course I will have to change my fluid when I get it so I was looking to make an upgrade.

I just got done what a huge project I was just changing my shifter cable and ended up having to drop the pan and changing the gasket and fluid but I just put advacned fluid in and it made a big difference the shift from 1-2 is harder like it was when I got the trans!

Is it not good to mix synthetic with regular Dexron Mercon III? See the problem is even if pull the pan their still will be fluid left in the converter and I really don't feel like pulling the converter just for some tranny fluid.

Oh so odds are I will just end up with a synblend. 1/6 normal fluid and 5/6 synthetic.
