Im in need of a new shifter, i want it to be a very short one, I have a kenwood deck that sometimes gets in my way when im shifting and my only solution is a new short shifter that and I think it would be cool. I want something really short. Any help? Theres tons on ebay but im not sure if i should trust them. what do you think?

I have had both the B&M and the Hurst. I prefer the Hurst slightly because the handle is angled slighty towards you. I also found it very easy to shorten even more, all you have to do is drill another above the two that are there and you are all set.

me and Chad both have the Hurst t-56 shifter with a short stick, i think his is Lou's and mine is from www.speedinc.com both of us can vouch that it is extremely tight and short. also it depends on the **** you have. i have the Hurst leather wrapped **** shown here...http://www.lmperformance.com/images/...-jpg/60081.jpg
and it is very nice, but with the same setup on my old camaro i just had a ball and it was even shorter cause it doesnt have the longer tail.

I have the UMI short stick. I even took off about an inch from the top to shorten even more. Its also angled towards you.
