are you looking for a stall conveter I guess? I have a 2200 it is ok but I would get a lock-up for sure!!!!!! I dont have one and it kind of sucks on the interstate and anything over 60 MPH!! casue it never locks the motor to the trasn where it is 1:1 it is always stalling so around 70 MPH it is about 2600 RPM not real bad but lock up would be around 2300 or so I belive!! better gas miliage!!

call summit or jegs and ask them what they recomend for whatever cam you get I would do the brand tci, but you can make the mods worthless by doing the wrong converter cam makes a huge difference what to do

get one from TCI, get a lock up converter around 3200. youll be plenty happy with that.

I see people throw numbers out and laugh a 3200 stall may work great for one car, but another may never make it to the power band it's all related and all needs to be matched (cam companies ask what converter you have as well as rear gear to help choose the right one)
