Transmission Installation Problem

Well ive been trying to install my stock transmission onto a 89 350 tbi engine i bought for my 92 camaro rs. And the problem I am having is that it wont go together as easy as the stock to the stock motor did. Also when i do get it lined up i have to use a couple of bolts to pull it together and then the torque conv. wont spin freely like the stock one. And yes the torque conv. is in all the way. Im not sure but every mechinic I talk to says that it should bolt up with no problem but in this case its not. If anyone has any idea they would be appreciated.

If it was rs with a sixer or somethin and your dropping the TBI in its most likely going to need a bigger tranny.

you don't have the converter ingaged in the pump, take it apart and pray you didn't **** up the pump. spin the converter until it goes back about an inch deeper than the bellhousing, and never use the bolts to fore it together, unless you like repalceing the pump
