Trouble

I remeber on the old site something about a engine foam you'd spray into your intake to clean it out well i can't remember the name of it. cause the T/A seems to be having either an air or a fuel delivery problem (i've changed the plugs and wires) because when i'm cruising at like 50-55 i give it 1/4-1/2 throttle {not enough to downshift** it seems to stumble all the time and after driving it for a long enough time it actually misses bad sometimes. I've ran Fuel system cleaner through it on several different occasions and replaced the fuel filter. I can tell you this if i use 91-92 octane it misses if i use 93 it is just stumbling and if i use 93 and an STP octane boost it seems perfectly fine. I'm just thinking that it could have heavy carbon deposits on the pistons or valves. But it is a very troubling detail. anyone have any tips or advice as to what it could be. Oh and another thing the first time i got the car's oil changed it had alot of gas in the oil. So i kept an eye on the oil level for the next 3000 miles and my oil level never changed but a gas smell is noticable. Since it isn't burning any oil there goes my assumption of bad rings or holes in the pistons i'm thinking that it is just running excessively rich as if someone hooker up a power programmer and never changed the thermostat if have since changed the thermostat to a 180 degree. And the gas smell has gotten somewhat better. ok i'm done confused and looking for help

very possible just carbon build up try seafoam it's what the dealer would do first thing, what type of plugs and what did the old ones look like could be a bad injector if one is stuck open it will run rich pull the plugs and see if any are wet (don't let it sit too long since it will evaporate)

I tried to use the seafoam through my PVC valve but i found i have a crack in it. It was an interesting story when i changed the plugs. All the easy to get to plugs where bosch in good shape the hard 3 where Ac delco that where pretty bad. and 2 of them wheren't even hand tight in the head.

for injector cleaning yes, but for upper engine cleaning you go through a vaccuum line (I use the brake booster line since it's easier to get to pour into)

I would doubt that, how are the plug wires on the car? It sounds like that might be another place to look if you are still having problems...

agreed and given that there were 2 brands of plugs may be worth doing a full tune up as it probably has never been done correctly
