will it really help 1/4 mile times? i was told it wouldn't b/c the loss of top end pull or somethin...

No...higher the better, dont listen to what non V6 drivers say like him here. You can put 4.10s in ur car and be really moving and only notice a drop on highway gas mileage and top end but they are 100% worth it on the strip.

really? cause i got 3.73s but i hate the highway with them. how much you think they improved my 1/4 time? going from 2.72 or w/e to 3.73?

MPG will go down on the highway but can get better in the city. I know guys who swapped in 4.10s and get better gas mileage in the city.

LSD will help you hook on the launch which is 90% of a drag race. Taller gears will greatly help your 1/4 mile time. Yes, you will lose some topend speed, but you will get to the end quicker cuz a 1/4 mile is a pretty short race (comparitively). If you were running a 1 mile race then your topend will be more affected.

There are people who have lowered their 1/4 time by .4 seconds by installing LSD and taller gears.

that makes sense now that i think about it. 4.10's for example would improve your around town gas mileage b/c you would get up to speed quicker and not have to be on the throttle as much

Dyno #'s? (at least estimated horsepower if you havent dynoed it)
