Dude if your car weighs 2300lbs, its completely gutted.

Being its a convertable will add a few hundred pounds too.

blue89vert 11-07-2006 08:31 PM

3200* my bad. the verts actually weigh the same as the hard tops. the loss of the weight from the hatch glass and w/e equals out with the subframe connectors and w/e

Shodown 11-07-2006 08:35 PM

That must be different for 3rd gens cuz I know 4th gen verts weight about 200 (ish) more than the hardtop/t-tops.

I would venture to say at sea level, with a good launch, you'd probably run mid - high 14's.

blue89vert 11-07-2006 08:48 PM

yea thats b/c 3rd gens are better.haha. thanks man.

2000v6cam 11-07-2006 09:06 PM

yea a new rear end is probably the next mod i will do when i can get the money to do it, thats usually the biggest reasons v6 drivers dont do it cause they dont have as much money thats why we probably bought a v6 instead of a v8 in the first place ( even though i love my car)
