I think that is the price for the 8mm without the heat shielding. The only thing about elite spark plug wires is that they do not come with the centerbolt wire holders. You have to order them seperatly.

I knew that I didn't want to have to make my own. What a pain in the a$$. I am just going to order the 'Made For You' kit and call it a day. And yeah, I have always thought bigger is better. That is why I ordered the 9mm instead of the 8mm. The guy told me that with the heat shielding it is going to look like I have 10mm wires

8 mm is way more than enough for the street but you still shouldnt have a problem. makign them and crimping the ends sucks indeed but the way i look at it, the more hard work and effort you put into the car, the more you'll respect it and care about it.

on most tests I've seen run there has been no advantage to the bigger wires (unless your running at the extreme edge prostock, or top fuel car)

Yeah but for ten dollars more I can tell people I run 9mm wires. And the local morons will be like OMFG that is so cool and I will all be like .
