so you don't have to start cashing out for tall deck stuff, ive looked into it myself actually, think with an aftermarket block and a standard deck you could easily build a 540 (think thats the # i came up with could be wrong). I'd probably go that path if I were to build a bbc. If moneys not an object and you're gonna get a tall deck then there's no point what so ever to build a 572 when you could easily see over 600 cubes. Just my opinion.
