Weird Brake Problem

Weird Brake Problem
Having problems with the Saturn, it's a 93 SL1 (yea I know, Granny mobile)
Got in it to go home, started it up, and the brake pedal hit the floor.
I have almost no Brakes left, not enough that I can drive it safely. there is no Leak in the Brake Lines that I can see, as the Brake Fluid is still full, and when pressing on the brake there is no Loss of fluid anywhere.
The Brakes don't feel spongy, they just don't respond.
when I Press on the brakes, two things happen.
1.) the Revs go up (figure that one out) up to about 2k rpm, and then drop when I let off, nearly stalling the car.
2.) there is a hiss that seems to be coming from driver side firewall.
I am thinking it is either a Vacuum line, or the master cylinder.
any thoughts?

I technically COULD be a power booster leak, but its unlikeley that it would make the brakes not work. It sounds like your master cylinder has a bypass problem or something. Put a new master cylinder in it and see what happens.

Well I have gotten 3 independent thoughts on this, and we all seem to be leaning towards a sized Vacuum Pump, as the Revs jump when you apply the brakes, pointing towards the vacuum pump not operating correctly and forcing the engine/pump to work harder.
hopefully it's just a vacuum seal, but we will see tonight.

Sounds like a brake booster problem to me, but that would usually make the pedal hard and increase effort to stop, not go to the floor. But, if there's a hole in the booster it could cause the pedal to hit the floor, a jump in rpm and a hiss.

it is the booster. Just trying to source one now, as I am not paying for a new one as the car is 14 years old, and it is just one major failure away from becoming a junker.
Hopefully I hear something soon, all the wreckers down here are busy as they were all closed yesterday due to the Crappy weather.
