Those are cool motors and all, but WAAAAAAY overpriced!

Hell, for $13-$15k you could buy a 98 Z28 with a T56, get bolt-ons and Procharge it for more than 550 hp and have it be reliable, just a lil tuning and its probably good for 600+ hp.

Then you wont have to worry about swapping the K member, swapping the motor, PCM, wiring harness, transmission, gauge cluster etc...

Either way, just remember, you'll need mucho suspension work and a new rear end cuz a stock 10 bolt wont be able to hold on to 500+ ft/lbs of tourque.

yeah cool motors but for 13k i could build a motor, trans, 12 bolt, and still have money to get a new top and a paint job...

that is an insane price for an engine not counting all the time it will take to get it in and all the other parts ull need to support the power, why didnt u look at the 390 hp version Ls1 its like half the price

You may want to look into getting a take out ls1, trans, harness, and all of the supporting parts. Put a healthy cam in it, run mid 11s on the motor and spray your way into the 10s.

Your gonna spend a whole lot of money getting everything in and working together also. It's not going to be a simple buy the crate and plug it in your car. You gotta lot more to buy after that way overpriced engine.
