What is the best Cat Back system out there for a 85 IROC. The motor I have is the 350/330 hp from GM. This is what I have to go on the motor
1.BBK 52mm
2.30lbs. injector
3.MSD HEI Distributer
4.MSD Digital 6 Plus
5.MSD 8.5 Plug wires
6.SLP Runners
7.SLP Coated Headers 1-3/4
8.NOS 150 Shot
9.TIPS Adjustable Fuel Regulator

good list there. looks like you have a nice amount of bolt ons but not enough to get you into tuning trouble or anything like that. good luck with it.

as far as a cat back, they are all pretty much the same, buy whatever you think is a cool sounding name.lol.

or even a custom exhaust from the cat wont cose TOO much i dont think.

if i were you, i would put a bullet after the cat and have an exhaust shop build something from the bullet to go over the axle and just do a Y into split tail pipes. basically like the loudmouth type exhausts. something like that will sound really good, pretty loud, but not bad with a cat in front of it. good luck let us know how it goes.

if you do the dynomax bullet make sure you have a cat unless you want it REALLY loud, IMO i would do a cat then a bullet, it sounds great

why? they don't limit hp like the myth says, and if you ever do get inspected (it will be mandated eventually) you have to have one. Not to mention if a cop has half a brain and looks they can impound your car even where there are no inspections

cats make a car doggy. haha, get the pun. ok j/k anyways, no cats sounds way better than catted. my camaro wasnt nearly as loud as it could have been, but it had the stock cat. which actually sounded really nice and mellow but deep like a growl from a demon.lol. anyways, if you can i would take the cat off.

not really if stock internals it sounds like a pos with a bad muffler (it also pisses people off when they get their doors blown off and barely hear the car doing it)
