ceramics typically don't stop as well, slotted will help with hard stopping, drilled are just another stop to lighten the rotors, and get gases out, but tend to weaken the rotor. To clear the glazing do the panic stop (I made a ton of money off women in Atlanta at the dealership fixing their squeal)

I always do both. If you are wanting best stopping get semi metallic, if you want less dust still decent stopping go ceramic

thanks for the feedback, and thread jacking...ahaha yea, I will most likely go ceramic since it seems good for stopping and noise reduction.

yea, but the price of hawks is crazy! Ahaha lab rat...damn I guess this better go pretty well. I had found out what was making noise in my right rear rotor and why my caliper grinded a groove in it, there was a tiny rock stuck in between the rotor and caliper and now my left rear rotor sqeeks along with the groove in my right rear rotor still makes noises...thank god I have my new rotors going on in a few days.

Once I get these darn rotors on then maybe I can put my Hawk pads on. Rotors should be here next week.

If anyone wants to know which direction their rotors go with the slots, here is a pic of the front left rotor(im replacing these ones), I got a few pm's asking me which direction they go, the first pic is kinda dark, and the second pic I fuked with the light exposer and used flash with my crappy camera phone so you could really see the rotor better, ahaha.
