If its all stock, id just go for basic bolt ons for the first things. A new full exhaust, intake etc. etc. then work from there.

If you want boost and can't afford a full motor to support it- get a blower. A LOT cheaper and easier to tune as well. Not to mention there are a lot of kits out there that people sell every day.

Yes, what FORCE_FED_Z said, is do a blower if you can't afford a full motor. if you want to go with turbo, and have some money, redo your whole motor, from top to bottom, and the entire fuel system. All forged internals, as low CR as you can get it (mines at 8.5:1), then do the turbo system. once thats all done and your cars fast, do some suspension and be prepared for things to go wrong at any time so make sure you cover the basics first before you jump into FI. but done correctly, man, IS IT FUN! haha
