If you want loud, go with the Slp Loudmouth Cat-back

I can vouch for that since I used to have it. Oh and definatly get rid of the catalitic convertor... unless you live in a state with emissions of course (you poor souls).

Sorry for the thread hijack but its somewhat relevant. So back in the day, when I had my 400 cubic inch Chevelle, I ran it open headered for awhile. THAT WAS LOUD. Can anyone give me a perspective of how loud the SLP loudmouth would be for me 3.8L compared to the loudness of my old chevelle. YES I KNOW IT WONT SOUND AS "GOOD", IM TALKING ABOUT LOUDNESS ONLY, so I can try and gauge it.

Or if you guys can't compare that, I later put 2 Flowmaster 50 series delta-flow's on my chevelle and it was a nice loud but held back sound. My friend had two 40 series flowmasters on his chevelle and it set off car alarms ALL around. Is there any comparison of loudness you guys can give me here, because I have never personally heard the loudness of the SLP. Would it be like 3/4 the opened headers. Or about equal with the chevelle with the 40 series muscle car mufflers? ... Haha, im rambling, but anyway, im just trying to figure out how trully "loud" this thing is, because I've heard so much ....

Sooo ... SLP LM would be the choice for loudness ... Overall, isn't that the favorite exhaust choice for loudness

Oh, and yeah, I already know about the rasp. ...
