Oh, and yeah, I already know about the rasp. :p ...

You are correct sir.

SLP Loudmouth or the Rumbler would be the best choices for loud. The Rumbler is suupposed to have less rasp than the LM.

LM is loud as hell with Ypipe

archemedes 02-13-2006 02:07 PM

2 pipes no mufflers all teh way to the back, will be loud, but lose some of the loud through the pipes

Really? Hmm, that might help me make my decision. So isn't the rumbler just dynomax bullet mufflers with mandrel bent pipes? I'm really stuck between these two cat-backs ... Someone help persuade me. Overall, are most Rumbler people very happy with the exhaust? Hmm ... Less rasp ... if this is true, I might sway closer to the TSP side then ...

Ok I have owned both the Loudmouth and the Rumbler. The Loudmouth does have more rasp while the Rumbler has less rasp and has a deeper more aggresive tone. The downside to the Rumbler is that it isn't stainless steel like the Loudmouth so if I was buying one I would get the Loudmouth II with the bullet muffler instead of the resenator.
I hope that makes sense.

I have an original Loudmouth and i still love it to this day.....however i do have an SLP ypipe that changed the way it sounds. ask chad he has heard it.

It does sound really good as long as you keep the stock cats and manifolds.

It ALMOST does ... What are the downsides to not being stainless steel? Is it only rust? ... Are you saying you would buy the LM II with the rumbler bullet muffler, or just buy the LM II system with the SLP bullet muffler? ... Sorry for having you guys spell everything out for me, I'm just tryin to understand. ;)

Here's my car with the stock manifolds and ypipe with the TSP Rumbler:
