lol indeed that does help and during the summer I would also turn the heat on (not always a fun thing to do :grumble: ) this is the third thermostat for the car this year.. coolant does not look bad and was flushed and replaced last year, water pump is not leaking and there is no debris under the car blocking air.. so it's on the back burner for now that it's colder and there are more pressing matters at hand :banghead:

Dont really want to put anymore money into this car cause Im getting a newer camaro (97+) in a few months.
Only GOOD things I like about my ride is:

1. I always wanted a camaro and i bought this car myself.
2. My soundsystem owns all.

Knuckle_Breaker ver.2.0 11-24-2005 05:07 AM

you might want to get a manual fan switch. Either that or get a program and have it turn on at a lower temp.

jessica2112 11-24-2005 10:49 AM

My car wont start sometimes. I have to move the tilt wheel up and then back down before the ignition does anything. Not even a click when it's acting up. Just dead. Any Ideas???????

(GOTTA BE A PAIN IN THE *** OR EXPENSIVE OR BOTH).

Need shocks (have new F/R swaybars-Z-28).
Waiting on shorter springs.
Instrument bezel cover broke (with the ac vent and fog light switch in it).
T-top leak, drivers side. Need to turn the rotors, or replace them
HP-Tuners needs to get here. (Shipping out tomorrow).
Very out of tune, worse than stock.
Ash tray lid vanished......
Headlights way out of adjustment
Right tail light fills with water.... :surrender

that's a piece inside the column, it's easier to replace the column with a used one, was real common on th older tilt columns

1BADVETTE 11-24-2005 02:09 PM

hooking up issues
tuning issues.
passenger window motor = teh slowness

thats probably your fuel pump. i had the same problem. luckily i found one on ebay for $60. the labor is gonna kill you though. drop the rear end, remove exhaust, drop tank. DONT think of cutting a hole in the trunk, that will **** a lot up.

Not really too hard, takes a couplea hours but you could do it urself, just take the gas out before you decide to try and drop the tank while ur on ur back

Drake 11-24-2005 10:34 PM

(1) need to replace driver's side window (got a glass cutter scratch from before I bought the car)
(2) fix chip in windshield
(3) new exhaust system (mine is shot)
(4) seats need to be re-upholstered
(5) need new shocks
(6) figure out why my engine is acting sluggish

And there are other things also....but just the above is more than I can handle.

x2..

-lack of traction
-lack of fuel economy
-lack of fuel even with #42 injectors and 255lph booster fuel pump...but the Aeromotive A1000 thats on the way should solve that problem.. :)

oh i did it at work on a lift with a few jacks and i ran my car til the tank was dry so i pulled it out myself. it was cake.

oh btw, be patient with getting the filler neck out. you've gotta twist the tank in so many directions to get it out, and still have to bend it back into position when youre done :D
