(GOTTA BE A PAIN IN THE *** OR EXPENSIVE OR BOTH).

Need shocks (have new F/R swaybars-Z-28).
Waiting on shorter springs.
Instrument bezel cover broke (with the ac vent and fog light switch in it).
T-top leak, drivers side. Need to turn the rotors, or replace them
HP-Tuners needs to get here. (Shipping out tomorrow).
Very out of tune, worse than stock.
Ash tray lid vanished......
Headlights way out of adjustment
Right tail light fills with water....
that's a piece inside the column, it's easier to replace the column with a used one, was real common on th older tilt columns

Not really too hard, takes a couplea hours but you could do it urself, just take the gas out before you decide to try and drop the tank while ur on ur back

(1) need to replace driver's side window (got a glass cutter scratch from before I bought the car)
(2) fix chip in windshield
(3) new exhaust system (mine is shot)
(4) seats need to be re-upholstered
(5) need new shocks
(6) figure out why my engine is acting sluggish

And there are other things also....but just the above is more than I can handle.

oh i did it at work on a lift with a few jacks and i ran my car til the tank was dry so i pulled it out myself. it was cake.

oh btw, be patient with getting the filler neck out. you've gotta twist the tank in so many directions to get it out, and still have to bend it back into position when youre done

I've had (and fixed) that problem in the past. It's your VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft System) wire that connects to the ignition switch. It's a very fine gauge wire, and stupidly, it was designed that it moves with the ignition switch. The point at which the end of the wire is soldered to the ignition switch will break off, or start losing connection. This will start off as trouble starting, and go to a full blown no-start condition. You'll notice that the SECURITY light on your gauge cluster will be illuminated.

The fix is to have a new ignition switch installed in the car... this also requires getting new ignition keys cut. Pain in the ***, and can be expensive... $99CAD for the switch, and 3 hours of labour plus two keys cut.

The day mine went, it gave me trouble starting at the bank. I was about an hour away from home when the wire lost total connection. $65 dollar tow bill. Boourns.
