Question Will turn downs change the sound of my exhaust?

Well my stock tips look like **** with a capital S. My catback sort of has it's own sound so for the moment I will keep it. However I need to get rid of these stock tips. I have been considering turn downs (just to be different really) and I was wondering how would this effect the sound of my cat back, if at all. I'm guessing the sound waves would be dispersed more evenly correct?

Trying to find some, even with my discount tips would end up costing me around $60+.

I have no idea why but all the ones at O'Reilly's are expensive to the point of stupidity. I was looking at some dual outlet tips and the price came out to $70 and some change WITH an employee discount.

just go to Wal-Mart and pick a set up. Or even e-bay has to have some for less than that. The auto parts stores around here have lots of cheaper priced ones, too.

Because people get screwed on their pay, for example I started off making $6 an hour and if I would have went to advance I would have started off at $7.25.
