Window Motor Modification
Hey guys.. my window motors had just about stopped on me.. only rolling up an inch or so at a time.. well i was going to replace the motors and somewhere online i happened across a modification that was supposed to fix this problem of the sluggish windows..
well i did this modification and it worked amazingly.. the windows have never been so fast and the modification is actually very easy compared to what it may initially sound like..
heres the link i used
window motor fix
i recommend this to anyone.. and the auto down window function still works fine and stops at the bottom like it is supposed to

honestly i have no idea.. the concept is that the motor has a small copper heat sensor in it that goes bad very quickly.. this is a safety feature to keep the motor from burning up.. it shuts the motor off at a certain temperature.. but it goes bad and begins shutting the motor off too soon.. this modification is to remove/bypass this heat sensor..
i am not sure if the third gens have this feature on the motor or even if it can be bypassed

omg yall sound like a bunch of whining little women.. (no offense to the amazing women on this site)..
im not jacking anything.. i was just stating that i did the modification as well and it worked fine..
as well as my experience with the auto window down feature continuing to work fine after the modification which seemed to be a huge contraversy over all the sites containing information about this project..
so take your crying somewhere else.. were not keeping score
