Window Scratches

Whats the best way to get surface scratches (I can not feel the scratches, they were caused by the last owner not having great wipers on and it scratched the window) out of windows. I know they make kits and stuff but I dont really want to buy a kit if i dont have to. I heard claybar works. Does anyone know the steps I can take to get rid of them?

clay bar may work use it like the paint, I doubt it will unless it's dirt, I have used 00 steel wool and also use a buffing wheel with marginal results best thing is take it to a glass shop most will do it fairly cheap
