I just got a 700$ estimate on getting my Rocker panels fixed and guess who's paying...FIRE STONE...Im taking my car in monday to get it fixed.

The guy who lifted it knew what he did and tried to pull it off like he didnt know, I saw him lookign at something when he lifted the car and didnt realize what it was untill I got home, then I looked underneath and was like oh FK NO, I drove back to Firestone, I hit 80MPH before getting off the highway ramp on the free way cause I was so pissed and got back and the lady at the front desk asked if I had forgot something, I was like no...My car was lifted on my rocker panels and destroyed them, if was bad, the mechanic saw me and looked at me when I got back and he knew he fked up, as soon as I said something to the lady at the front desk he rushed over and went to go look under my car and he was like, we lifted it on the frame not here, and Ill take some pics its bad, but I talked to the manager and he said they would pay for it, so Im happy that the manager was cool and called the body shop for me and I went in got an estimate, its going to cost them 711.00$...ahahaha man I was so pissed.
that sucks. at least they have to pay for it. That reminds me of what happened at my work the other day. You know those big umbrella things that are supposed to be cemented into the ground outside some fast food resturants. well one of those decided to fly over the Rallys parking lot and into our parking lot and the pole smashed martins fender, the whole thing flipped over and the top of the umbrella smashed his windshield, and flipped over again and smashed his whole windshield. He drives a 92 le baron convertible, his car had 2200 worth of damages and was actually totalled but rallys had to pay for it anyways.

uhh, free tire rotation and service since I bought tires through them...(to lazy to do it myself and I was on Base anyways that day, FT.Lewis WA) they end up owing me money funny huh, they didnt damage the right side, but I said they did anyways to get my other rocker panel fixed that the dealership didnt fix, they wanted to play stupid with me, so I played it with them and said the other side was damaged by them. atleast its now getting fixed for free.

Sorry, but I dont care if they do give free tire rotations, I would pay the $10 somewhere else just to avoid that place. Firestone, Discount Tire, and most of the major chains hire the worst service techs, because they offer the lowest money. (When it comes to tire techs).

I'd much rather goto an independant, they will take care of you, because they want and need your repeat buisness. They will typically undersell the larger distributors, and offer the same deals such as free rotations etc.

But im glad they handled it for you, thats a common mistake when jacking up an f-body.

Id imagine so, they broke the tab that the body panel goes, so not only did firestone pay for body damage, they also have to pay for it to be painted 100+$ for paint, ahahaha. If they did it right the first time, they wouldnt be going through this ****, if they were even nicer, they would give me a set of thier best tires for free...@ss holes.

here is the labor and ect charges that they gave me for a copy for Firestone to pay for.

Parts + Body Labor 8.2 hrs @ 50$ an hour 410.00$
Paint Labor 3.9 hrs @ 50$ an hour 195.00$
Paint Supplies 3.9 hrs @ 25$ an hour 97.00$
Sublet/misc 8.50$

Subtotal 711.00$
Sales Tax 711.00 @ 8.8% = 62.57

GRAND TOTAL 773.57...who would ever imagine that would cost that much, almost 800$ out of fire stones pocket.
